CBFW is a confident, playful record built around attitude, wordplay, and not letting anybody play with you. The inspiration came from wanting to make a song where I could really talk my shit, but still have fun with it. It isn’t just about arguing with somebody. It’s about being quick with your words, knowing how to read a situation, and knowing when somebody simply can’t fuck with you. A lot of the personality comes from the wordplay throughout the song. I play with words that sound alike but mean different things, double meanings, flirting, confrontation, and little moments that make you catch something different each time you listen. There’s a lot going on lyrically, but it’s meant to feel entertaining rather than like I’m sitting there trying to prove a point. The vibe is bold, cocky, funny, confrontational, and unapologetic. It has that larger-than-life hip-hop energy where the personality is just as important as the beat. The production gives me enough room to really land the lines, while the hook and the “Ouuu” moments give the record something people can grab onto. The message is pretty simple: I know who I am, I know what I bring, and I’m not letting somebody else’s attitude change that. You can talk, argue, compare, or bring everybody you know into it, but at the end of the day, I’m still going to be me. CBFW is supposed to feel like having the last word without needing to explain yourself afterward. It’s confident, a little petty, a little funny, and completely unapologetic. It’s me having fun, talking my shit, and reminding people exactly what the title means: Can’t Be Fucked With.
